Sophie was all excited to stomp in the snow!!

Meeting out Auntie Kelle

Brody,Joce and Emma came to see the babies. We played
outside for a little bit.

Happy Halloween! Brody,Joce,Emma, and McKelle
met us at our church for trunk or treat
 chili and bread sticks!  

 

We went to Logan and gave the kids a halloween treat!
They were surprised that we were dressed up.
I don't normally get into it, but I knew the kids
would think it was funny to see us crazy!
It was actually fun. Thanks to McKelle's help!!

 

We were able to enjoy the beautiful weather and took
advantage of letting the kids have a play date at the park!
Felt so good to feel the sun and the kids had so much fun!

Double the blessings in October 2012

We were so excited for the safe arrival of these 2 little boys. William weighed 5lbs.6 oz.
and Stuart weighed 5lbs 3 oz. Perfectly healthy baby boys. They were born on Monday
morning Oct. 15, 2012. I was able to work it out so I could go down and help them for a
week. I left afterwork on thursday the 18th and got to their house just after they got home
from the hospital. I walked into the house to see the boys laying on the couch, so sweet!
I spent the next week helping Kim and Blair transition from 1 to 3 kids. We often think
about that week and wonder how we did it! I was exhausted at the end of the day and
often took a shift in the night to give Blair a break so he could make it to work. Soo
much laundry, cleaning, playing with Sophie's, babies babies, cooking a little...and I
was healthy. I couldn't imagine how Kim was feeling just after having surgery! Kim
and Blair are going to do just fine!!! It was a priviledge for me to be able to spend
so much time with these two miracles the first week of their life on earth. After being
at their house from thursday night to saturday (Oct.18-27)I went back down on tuesday
my day off(oct.30) and I sewed the boys car seat covers and  we went to Gardner Village
on Halloween. It was so fun but quite crazy to get ready for an outing with twins!!
I came home that same day so I could see everybody else for Halloween.
Busy... but Good Times!!

To me this picture shows just how tiny Will and Stu are. This is a
note to Blair wishing him a Happy Birthday that Sophie colored
and Kim is taking a picture of it and sending it to him.

Happy Birthday Sophie - Sept. 14, 2012

Kim went into labor on Sophie's birthday! So we had a little party for her in the hospital (Intermountain Medical Center). She is being so silly in this picture. She loved her presents and everyone that came in to see Kim made a big deal over Sophie!!! Can you imagine how crazy that would have been if she had had the babies today? All of their kids birthdays would have been on the same day!! Kim spent the next 2 weeks in the hospital (University of Utah Hospital) and another couple at home before the babies came. Thank heavens!!

Hospital food got a little old, so I treated them with some good home cooking!!!

While Donny was on his business trip, I drove up to Box Elder Campground to see the fall leaves. So pretty. This is the early peak of the fall leaves. I actally talked to Donny on the phone while I was
hiking around.

This picture is gross but wanted to show how bad of a year it was for box elder bugs. It was awful!!!!

I love it that the kids like to help with the puzzles too!

Smores both nights were super good. I love Cam's trick of melting the chocolate on the graham cracker and then putting the marshmallow on it. I discovered I like smores open faced.
